2010 rock crawler and scale comps (DATES)

So was thinking about a schedule for scale and crawler comps. Would like everyones opinion on the dates and how frequently we would like to have crawler comps in particular.

5/9/10 crawler comp/mchugh
5/16/10 scale comp/ eklutna lake
5/23/10 crawler comp/McHugh creek
6/20/10 scale comp/wasilla location tba

7/18/10 crawler comp/ canceled due to rain
8/1/10 crawler comp/ Hatcher pass (summit Lake)
8/8/10 Top Truck challenge Wasilla
8/15/10 crawler comp/ mchugh
9/12/10 crawler comp/ location tba
9/18/10 scale comp/ location tba/camping trip
9/19/10 scale comp/ location tba/camping trip
9/26/10 crawler comp/mchugh/ champions announced.
If things rain out their will be no make up days. Accept for the top truck challenge.
So lets hear some input. I know last year was slim for crawler comps. Not sure how many people have jobs that they might have to work weekends. Would one crawler comp a month be better? one scale comp a month better? How many people wanna do that camping trip with scalers? Look forward to hear from everyone.

just speaking from the offroad side, you have scheduled on july 11th a comp. There is an offroad championship that weekend.

Also if you are thinking about an offroad track in the valley, then add in all anchorage race dates, then soldotna dates, then comp dates, then scale dates, something is going to lose out big time.

It would be best to sit down with all the schedule makers and come up with a plan that might make things work. We are working with one pool of people and have to be realistic. How many days can they put towards all this, how many veicles can they maintain, and how will families deal with all the time put towards this ( most wives, girlfreinds and kids are not into it).

the 11th was my bad that one will deleted. and in making that schedule i was looking at the offroad race dates. thats why at this point is in the discussion stage. but keep in mind the valley track isnt going to happen overnight if at all, and not everyone thats into crawling is racing offroad. so thats why im looking for input on if we want a busy crawler schedule or a once a month thing. thanks for your input scott i honestly appreciate everyones views even if i disagree. so the 11th is defaintely out.

I am able to crawl every sunday. I guess ill be out at mchugh all this summer.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all glad I could join YA'S the tinative schedule for HP is still on ? I have been there many times cant say I have ever been to any lake @ HP could I get a little directions plzzz or I,ll GPS it on my DROID =). Ohh and about what time peeps?, me being one of them has to wrk. I work out of twn alot all over the State @ the Long range Radar sites some sic crawling in some of these places, I will have to learn how t opost pics and send some in. All said and done thanks for letting me join our little EX. group Krawlerzz baby.
