Classes we expect to have this summer are........Truggy, Buggy, E-truggy, E-Buggy, SC 4X4, Stock SC 10 2X4

The SC 2X4 class this year will be a stock class so new members have a place to start racing without breaking the bank.
We will be following the rules of ROAR this year for the class, as stated in there rule book on page 67 at http://www.roarracing.com as for motor look at previous post by Devil

Racing will start at 6:05 and we will be using a moto style format. This has proven to give more drive time and less down time. Here is an example.

6:05 Truggy 15 min
6:20
6:20 Break 5 min
6:25 E-Buggy 15 min
6:40
6:40 Break 5 min
6:45 Buggy 15 min
7:00
7:00 Break 5 min
7:05 E-Truggy 15 min
7:20
7:20 Break 5 min
7:25 SC10 Stock 10 min
7:35
7:35 Break 5 min
7:40 SC 4X4 15 min
7:55
7:55 Break 5 min
8:00 Truggy 15 min
8:15
8:15 Break 5 min
8:20 E-Buggy 15 min
8:35
8:35 Break 5 min
8:40 Buggy 15 min
8:55
8:55 Break 5 min
9:00 E-Truggy 15 min
9:15
9:15 Break 5 min
9:20 SC10 Stock 10 min
9:30
9:30 Break 5 min
9:35 SC 4X4 15 min

10 minutes for stock X 2 20 minute drive time
15 minutes for nitro X 2 30 minute drive time
15 minutes for electric X 2 30 minute drive time
5 minutes between heats

With 5 to 6 classes you may enter 3 of them
With 3 to 4 classes you may enter 2 of them
You must turn marshall after your race

The electric class will most likely start out at 10 minutes per heat just so we know all can finish the race.

We also have several ideas in the works to make things easier such as checking your finishing time ( having a seperate monitor to veiw that is out side of our pit area) . Having a large count down timer to race so there is no confusion and you don't have to ask how much time is left till the start or tryimg to hear over the engines when called out.

Production 1/10 sc 4X4 only, sc 1/10 specific wheels and tires, 2 cell lipo max, and any motor. In other words a stock sc4X4 with the exception of motor and sc 1/10 specific tires and wheels. The exception is a center diff on the slash is allowed.

Any 2X4 vehicle in a 4X4 class will be considered a speed bump! The way our short course class goes I can only imagine what kind of carnage there is going to be in 4X4 class. These things will actually hook-up and the way people are talking about the size of motors to run.......It's going to be interesting!!! We have to keep the rules set in stone, It's just the two classes we really need to worry about. 2X4 is considered entry level and inexpensive, A class that kids can have fun being a part of. You have to run class specific trucks, No mixing it up or miss-match parts.
